Safety instructions
•
Note that you use your elbow crutches on
a good surface. (Not with too many gravel).
•
Be extra careful on a wet / slippery ground.
•
Before every usage, check if the elbow
crutch is adjusted in the correct height.
•
Check that the spring pins for the height
adjustment are clicked into place.
•
Do not place the crutches too far from your
body to avoid risk of falling.
•
Do not use the elbow crutches as a toy.
•
Do not hold the handgrips with wet hands.
If you do so, you can lose your grip and lose
your balance.
•
Do not take too big steps with the elbow
crutches.
•
Risk of burns
– Be careful when using in
hot or cold environments (sunshine,
extreme cold, saunas, etc.) for a sufficient
amount of time and when touching.
Surfaces can assume the environment
temperatures.
•
Take note of the instructions for care and
service. The manufacturer is not liable for
damage caused by improper servicing/
care.

Shipping and storage
Make sure that the crutch is stored dry.
Provide sufficient covering or packaging to
protect the crutch from rust and foreign bodies
(e.g. salt water, sea air, sand, dust).
Make sure no objects are stored on or against
the crutch to prevent damage.

Adjustments
4.1
Height adjustment
Risk of falling
•
Ensure that both crutches are placed to
the same height.
•
Check that the spring pins are clicked
into place.
Before using the crutch, you must adjust them
to the correct height.
Adjust the height of the crutch(es) according
to the following instructions:
1. Press the spring pin of the crutch.
2. Adjust the crutch to the desired height.
Ensure that your wrist is at the same
height of the handgrip when you leave
your arms hanging loose next your body.
Ensure that your body is in an upright
position.
3. Check that the spring pin is clicked into
place.
4. Adjust the other crutch according to the
same instructions and to the same height
(when used as a set).

Using your crutches
5.1
Walking
Risk of falling
Do not place the crutches too far to the
front.
Follow the advice of your doctor or
physiotherapist about how to walk with the
crutches. When you
didn’t receive any advice,
you can use the instructions below:
•
Always walk upright with the crutch(es)
right next to your body.
•
Never place the crutch further than your
front leg while walking.
•
Be careful with wet/slippery underground.
•
When you need just 1 crutch, hold the
crutch on the side of your unaffected leg.
Place

not lean on the affected leg, move the
