Replacing or cleaning the motor filter
The motor filter must be replaced after every 4 dust bags. In between, it
can be cleaned.
•
Remove the motor filter by sliding the holder upwards.
•
Place a new motor filter in the holder and slide it back or clean the
motor filter with lukewarm water and allow it to dry in the air for
24 hours before placing the motor filter back in the holder.
Cleaning or replacing the HEPA filter
The HEPA filter cleans the air one more time before it is ejected by the
vacuum cleaner. Clean the HEPA filter at least once every six months
or when it is very dusty. When the HEPA filter is damaged, it must be
replaced by a new original filter.
•
Press the clip to open the grille under which the HEPA filter is
located.
•
Remove the HEPA filter.
•
Clean the HEPA filter with lukewarm flowing water and allow the
filter to dry in the air for 24 hours. Do not use cleaning agents or
brushes.
•
Only place the HEPA filter back once it is fully dry, or place a new
HEPA filter.
• Place back the grille. Make sure it is properly attached.
Attention:
•
Only use the vacuum cleaner when the filters and a dust bag
have been placed. If not, the suction power could be reduced or the motor could be
damaged.
•
Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning or replacing the filters.
•
Torn or not properly sealing filters could damage the motor. When a filter is defective, it
must be replaced by a new original filter.
•
The filters may not be cleaned in the dishwasher.
•
Do not use a hair dryer to dry the filters.
Removing a clog
When the dust bag full indicator becomes red:

the clog from the tube or hose.
Warning:
the dust bag full indicator remains red if:
• the dust bag is full
• the tube or hose is clogged

the filters are dirty
