Removing a clog
When the dust bag full indicator becomes red:
• Check whether the dust bag is full.
•
When the dust bag is not full, check whether the filters should be cleaned.
• Check that the tube or hose is not clogged. Use a stick or something similar to remove
the clog from the tube or hose.
Warning:
the dust bag full indicator remains red if:
• the dust bag is full
• the tube or hose is clogged
•
the filters are dirty
If the vacuum cleaner is used for more than 10 minutes when the dust bag full indicator is red,
the vacuum cleaner switches off automatically to prevent it from overheating. If this happens,
switch off the appliance with the switch, remove the plug from the socket and resolve the
problem. The safety device will reset once the vacuum cleaner is switched on again.
Veripart recommends the use original Veripart dust bags. Any damage caused by using non-
original Veripart dust bags is not covered by the warranty.
If you choose to use non-original Veripart dust bags, do make sure the capacity of these dust
bags corresponds with the capacity of the vacuum cleaner.
Manufacturers of vacuum cleaner bags often use the name “Uni-bag” for vacuum cleaner bags
that may be suitable for the Veripart vacuum cleaner.
In case of doubt, you can contact the manufacturer of those vacuum cleaner bags.
