NSTALLING THE RAIN GAUGE
Open up the funnel-shaped lid on the rain gauge by turning both knobs on the side of the rain gauge
counterclockwise and then lifting the lid.
Open the battery cover by removing the screws.
Connect the batteries by removing the plastic strip.
Close the battery cover by inserting and tightening the screws.
Close the lid and turn the knobs in a clockwise direction.

NSTALLING THE ANEMOMETER
Install the anemometer (device with three wind cups) on the bottom of the wind gauge and attach
permanently with the included tool.
Install the wind direction arrow on top of the wind gauge and attach permanently with the included tool.
Open the battery cover by removing the screws.
Connect the batteries by removing the plastic strip.
Close the battery cover by inserting and tightening the screws.
Be aware that wind directions at the present time may not necessarily be correct. Instructions on how to
calibrate the wind direction correctly can be found in the section "Calibrating the wind direction" under the
main section "Installation".
All devices should now be connected.
