7. Attach the hood assembly to the ceiling mouting plate using (8) M4 x 10 mm machine
screws, (8) M4 serrated flange nuts and (8) M4 washers (2 for each support leg)

8. Connect hood duct to ceiling duct and seal with metal foil duct tape (
Fig. 7
).
9. Install a UL approved wire clamp (not included) on the mounting plate second
opening. Connect hood power cable to house wiring inside of electrical outlet box
using provided wire nuts: BLACK to BLACK, WHITE to WHITE, and GREEN to
GREEN or bare wire (
Fig. 8
). Tighten wire clamp to secure hood power cable to
mounting plate/electrical box and re-attach outlet box cover.
10. Slide the upper flue up to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting plate using
4 no. 8 x 7/16" sheet metal screws (
Fig. 9
).
11. Remove protective plastic film from hood and flues.
