Safety
• Before operating ensure that the product can be and is operated with-
out risk of damage to property or injury to people or animals.
• The remote control should be kept out of reach of children.
• If repair and adjustment work is needed to the system or the window
including products connected to it, disconnect from the mains supply
and ensure that it cannot be reconnected unintentionally.
• It is recommended to place a remote control in the room where the
window and its electrical products have been installed.
• Control unit with mains cable is for indoor use only.
• The control unit must not be covered (maximum ambient temperature:
50°C).
Installation
• For indoor use only.
• Installation in rooms with a high level of humidity must comply with
relevant regulations (contact a qualified electrician if necessary).
• Check that the remote control can operate the relevant product from
the proposed position before it is fastened to the holder.
Product
• This product has been designed for use with genuine VELUX products.
Connection to other products may cause damage or malfunction.
• The product is compatible with products with the io-homecontrol logo.
• Electrical products must be disposed of in conformity with national
regulations for electronic waste and not with usual household waste.
• Used batteries must be disposed of in conformity with the relevant
environmental regulations and not with usual household waste.
• The packaging can be disposed of with usual household waste.
• This product is based on one-way RF communication and marked with
the symbol

Maintenance and service
• The product requires a minimal amount of maintenance. The surface
may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.
• Disconnect from the mains supply before carrying out any mainte-
nance (including cleaning of pane) or service work to the system or
window and ensure that it cannot be reconnected unintentionally
during this time.
• If mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a genuine VELUX
cable by qualified personnel in accordance with national regulations.
