LONG: Exposure Time
LONG sets the exposure time
for each shot. This can be
much longer than the camera’s
available shutter speeds. You
can select exposure times
from 1 second to 99 hours 59
minutes and 59.9 seconds. The
confirmation LED will turn solid
red during a long exposure.
Note: For exposures 1 second and
longer, set your camera to Bulb
mode, and then set the exposure
time on the ShutterBoss. Use the
camera to control exposure times
faster than 1 second.
1. Set your camera’s exposure
mode to
Bulb
.
2. Press the / arrows to
position the cursor beneath
LONG
.
3. Press the
Set
button to
change the exposure time
settings. The time increments
will blink.
4. Use the / arrows to
move between hours,
minutes, seconds, and tenths
of a second.
5. Use the / arrows to
change the time increments.
6. Press
Set
to confirm.
7. Press the
button to begin
the timer.
