3. Connecting the Device to a Suitable Power Source
The device can only be connected to a standard wall plug.
Plug the supplied AC adapter into the message board’s
9V
jack and connect the other end to a
standard wall plug.
Caution :
Use an AC adapter that supplies 9V and at least 1A. Verify whether the centre pin of
the plug is connected to the positive pole (
+
) of the adapter. The outer ring of the plug
should be connected to the negative (
-
) pole. The plug should be compatible with the
message board’s
9V
jack. Using an adapter that does not meet these specifications
may cause serious damage to the message board or the adapter.
Power Failures
The memory of the MML10 saves your messages for one year if the message board is not
connected to a suitable power source. The message board will perform its standard self-test
when the AC power supply is restored. You can also delete the messages yourself.
