Connection to several A/V systems
The transmitter can be used for several A/V systems. Start by choosing the last system in the chain and connect its LINE
OUT jack with the transmitter. If the last system in the chain has no spare LINE OUT (jack) you should use the coax cable
to connect the TV's VHF/UHF jack with the last system and connect the transmitter with the last system's LINE OUT jack.
c) Use the supplied adapter to connect the back of the receiver with a wall outlet.
d) Put the ON/OFF switch in the ON position. The LED at the front should light.
e) Put the receiver in a suitable location and adjust the antenna so the convex part is aimed at the transmitter. See also p.
6 : “Orienting Devices”.
5. Installing the Receiver
a) Connect an A/V cable with the A/V jacks of the receiver, making sure the colours of the plugs match those of the jacks of
the receiver.
b)
Connect the other end of the cable with the A/V jacks (LINE IN) of the TV and make sure the colours of the plugs match
the jacks on the TV. Below you will find several connection possibilities.
Remark : The connector on the A/V component is a SCART jack for PAL systems. Connect the SCART connector
(RECEIVER) with the SCART jack (IN) of the A/V component and connect the RCA connector with the receiver
(AVMOD8RX = extra receiver).
