- To carry out a continuity test, first press the DC/AC pushbutton,
until the buzzer symbol appears. When the continuity is less than
20

the buzzer will sound.
Diode test
- Connect the test leads with the and COM terminals.
- Turn the rotary switch to .
- To check the passage voltage, connect the red lead to the anode
of the diode and the black lead to the cathode.
- The test may be used for diodes with a passage voltage below 1
V. Normally the display will indicate between 400 and 800 mV.
DC/AC current measurements
- Set the selector to the required current measuring range (200
mA or 10 A) and connect the test leads to the required terminals
(mA or 10 A).
- Select AC or DC measurement using the DC/AC pushbutton.
NOTE: The current measuring range is NOT protected by a fuse.
For longer current measurements it is recommended to exchange
the supplied test leads with leads of a suitable diameter.
