6 CUTTING OUT AND INSTALLATION OF CELLULAR POLYCARBONATE (CP) TO THE
END-FACES
Warning ! When installing the CP, it is important that the CP cellular lines are
vertical (from top to bottom). Be sure to remove the wrapping film from both sides of
the sheet. The front (facing the sun) side of the cellular polycarbonate is marked by the
manufacturer with a special symbol (color stripe. sticker or other).
The required quantity of sheets and cutting scheme for cellular polycarbonate of
2100x6000mm for greenhouses NOVA with length 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 m are shown at the
end of the instructions (Annex 1).
6.2.
Put the part “A” of CP to the end-face door by aligning the bottom edge of CP
along the bottom lintel of the end-face. Fasten part 1 with self-tapping screws #38
through thermal washers #39 according to the scheme of polycarbonate fastening (see
below).
6.3. Put the part “B” of CP to the left-hand side of the end-face, and the part “C”
- to the right-hand side of the end-face, having aligned the bottom edge of CP on the
bottom lintel of the end-face. Fasten the
parts “B” and “C” with self-tapping screws
#38 through the thermal washers #39 according to the scheme of polycarbonate
fastening (see further).
6.4. Mount polycarbonate on the second end-face in the same way.
6.5. Cut off the protruding edges of CP along the outer edge of the framework
6.6. Cut through the slits for the doors and air gates in the “ A ” parts.
