3 Radar Configuration with

PLICSCOM

3.1 Overview

PLICSCOM is the indicating and adjustment unit for VEGA PLICS sensors. The

following sections contain information primarily as an aid in setting basic sensor

parameters. Follow the required basic parameters for new instrument setup in the

order depicted. Bus addressing and information for resetting the instrument are

also included in the sections that follow.

3.2 System Operation

The VEGA level measurement device provides level information to the RD, the

DCS (Display and Control System), or can act as a stand-alone device using the

PLICSCOM. The following requirements are necessary for proper operation:
