D isplay and adjustment module
PLICSCOM
T he pluggable display and adjustment module is used for measured value
indication , operation and diagnosis . I t is equipped with an illuminated full
dot matrix as well as four keys for adjustment .

T he display and adjustment module is integrated in the respective sensor
housing or in the external display and adjustment unit . A fter mounting , the
sensor as well as the display and adjustment module are splash - proof
even without housing cover .

PACT ware / DTM
A s an alternative to the display and adjustment module , the sensor can
also be con fi gured via a

indows
PC . T
o do this
,
the con fi guration soft

ware PACT ware and a suitable instrument driver ( DTM ) according to the
FDT standard are required . T he current PACT ware version as well as all
available DTM s are compiled in a DTM C ollection . T he DTM s can also be
integrated into other frame applications according to the FDT standard .
A ll device DTM s are available as a free - of - charge standard version and as
a full version that must be purchased . I n the standard version , all functions
for complete setup are already included . A n assistant for simple project
con fi guration simpli fi es the adjustment considerably . S aving / printing the
project as well as import / export functions are also part of the standard
version .
I n the full version there is also an extended print function for complete
project documentation as well as a save function for measured value and
echo curves . I n addition , there is a tank calculation program as well as a
multiviewer for display and analysis of the saved measured value and
echo curves
.
C onnection of the PC via VEGACONNECT
T
he interface converter
VEGACONNECT
is required for connection of the
PC . O n the computer side , the connectionis made via USB interface . T he
VEGACONNECT is placed instead of the display and adjustment module
to the sensor , the connection to the sensor is made automatically . A s an
alternative the connection via the HART signal can be carried out on any
position of the signal cable with
