BALANCER UNIT AND OIL PUMP (MID MOUNTED)
1. T SJ 436 E Engines are fitted with mid mounted balancer unit.
2. Balancer unit is secured to the engine crank case by six set screws (Torque 55MM).
3. Balancer unit is driven by the engine crank gear through an idler gear.
4. Lub oil pump is an integral part of balancer unit and it is driven by a drive shaft of balancer unit.
5. Lub oil pump is not serviceable separately.
6. Bearings of balancer unit drive shafts are lubricated through a pressure feed oil passage in cylinder block
that matches with that of oil hole in the second mounting leg of balancer unit on FIP side.
