Volume, Colour, Contrast
and Brightness
The volume, colour, contrast and brightness
settings can be adjusted in “STOP” mode
only.

Press the
ANGLE
button once or more
than once to activate the desired
control.
☞
Adjust the volume, colour, contrast or
brightness setting with the
<
and
>
buttons.
☞
Press the
DISPLAY
button to recover the
default settings (except volume).
Notes:
For MP3 discs, the above modes cannot be
adjusted.
When the sum of the contrast value and
brightness value is 29, it is prohibited
increasing.
Do not adjust the contrast and brightness
level too high.

PREFERENCES
This setup page includes all other
configuration items of the player. For

GENERAL SETUP

TV DISPLAY
This is to select the appropriate TV aspect
(4:3 or 16:9) according to the connected TV
set.

NORMAL/PS
(For 4:3 TV)
Played back in the PAN & SCAN style.
(If connected to wide-screen TV, the left
and right edges are cut off.)

NORMAL/LB
(For 4:3 TV)
Played back in letterbox style.
(If connected to wide-screen TV, black
bands appear at top and bottom of the
screen.)

WIDE
(For 16:9 TV)
Select when a wide-screen TV set is
connected.

This player can play discs recorded in either
PAL or NTSC format.

TV supports PAL and NTSC.
