BLUE CONNECTOR C3 for a Digital CD changer (available separately) (fig. 6)
You can only connect a CD changer with a Digital Output to this set (see the mounting
instructions for the CD changer).
Consult your dealer for the exact type.
Reconnect the set only after fully installing the CD Changer.

TELEPHONE IN (fig. 9)
If your car telephone or the car kit of your mobile phone provides a loudspeaker connection,
its output can be amplified through the car’s front speakers.
Connect connector D (yellow) to the loudspeaker output of your car phone.
Also connect the yellow mute wire of connector C2 fig. 5.
Refer to ‘INITIAL SETTINGS’,
options ‘PHONE’ set to ‘IN’ and then ‘PHONE LOW’ or ‘HIGH’.

SUBWOOFER OUT G
You can connect a subwoofer via an external amplifier to this set.
• Connect plugs H to Left (white) and Right (Red) channel on the amplifier.
• To control subwoofer frequency see ‘INITIAL SETTINGS’.

MICROPHONE JACK for Autoequalization H
A microphone connection is provided to measure the sound curves of your car when the
autoequalization function is performed.

Connect the microphone to the microphone jack flylead.
After connection see ‘SPECIAL FUNCTIONS’.

AUXILIARY CONNECTOR I
To increase your listening possibilities you can connect a portable DCC, CD or cassette player
to this set. Cable

must be connected to an output of 750 mV (in most cases the headphone
output of the portable player is suitable).
•
Connect plugs D to Left (white) and Right (red) channel on portable player.
Increase the volume of the portable player to the desired level.
