Getting started

PLEASE READ ‘LET’S TALK SAFETY’ BEFORE USE

CAUTION: 

The battery used in this device may present a risk of fire or chemical burn if mistreated. Do not disassemble 

or heat above manufacturer’s maximum temperature limit (60° C/140°F) or incinerate. Replace battery with a Vax battery 

only. Use of another battery may present a risk of fire or explosion. Dispose of used battery promptly. Keep away from 

children. Do not disassemble and do not dispose of in fire. Do not attempt to disassemble the battery or remove any 

component projecting from the battery terminals. The battery and charger have no user serviceable parts. Fire or injury 

may result. Prior to disposal, protect exposed terminals with heavy insulating tape to prevent shorting. The battery 

must be recycled or disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.

CAUTION: 

For best performance terminals on battery, 

battery charger and vacuum cleaner must be clean 

and free from dust and dirt.

NOTE: 

The life expectancy of the battery will vary 

depending on the usage of the vacuum cleaner.

Charging the battery

Fit the battery onto the battery charger. The battery charger light will turn blue when charging. 

If a red light appears an error has occurred, remove the battery and re-fit. The battery will be fully 

charged after 10 hours and the charger light will turn off.

Removing the battery from charger

Press the release button on the battery, hold the base of battery charger 

and lift the battery to remove.

The battery will need charging before first use. Do not attempt to charge non rechargeable batteries.
