If the appliance will not be used for a long period of time:
• Unplug from the mains
• Empty the water tank and allow to dry before refitting
• Clean the filter
• Store the dehumidifier in the upright position away from direct sunlight, at room temperature and where the
appliance cannot freeze.
Cleaning the dehumidifier

Keep all grills/openings clear of dust
and debris.
Wipe the dehumidifier with a clean
dry cloth.
IMPORTANT:
The filter should be cleaned every two weeks and replaced every 6 months dependant upon use.
Do not use the dehumidifier without the filter being correctly fitted and in place.
The appliance is intended for household use only and should not be used in high dusty environments such as during
building or renovation work.

Cleaning the filter
Lift the air inlet grill/filter cover located
on the back of the dehumidifier.
Separate the filter and cover.
Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft
dusting brush attached or tap the filter
over a bin to remove dust.
Wash the filter under running water
(40 degrees max) Leave for 24 hours
or until fully dry before refitting.
Never place in a dishwasher to clean.
