Remove the hose from the vacuum cleaner and

inserting a wire coat hanger into the hose.
Removing blockages from the hose
TIP:
To test for a blockage in the hose, drop a
small ball of paper into the hose. The paper will
drop through if the hose is clear.
UNLOCK
LOCK
Release the retaining nut by
turning it in the “UNLOCK”
direction. Remove the upper
section of the housing.
Thoroughly clean the brush
by hand.
If you are unable to remove
all dirt by hand, use pincers
or scissors. When using these
implements, always proceed
with extreme care. Make sure
that the brushes and the V-belts
are not damaged in the process.
After cleaning, first place the
upper section of the housing in
the three catches at the front of
the lower housing section and
then close it at the top. Tighten
the retaining nut by turning in
the “LOCK” direction.
