Taking care of your machine
CAUTION:
To reduce the risk of injury from moving parts – unplug before servicing. The brushbar is equipped with
bearings which contain sufficient lubrication for their lifetime. Do not add lubricant to the brushbar.
IMPORTANT:
Remove the accessory from the hose or telescopic extension tube before performing maintenance
or troubleshooting checks.
Removing blockages from the hose
Remove the hose from the vacuum
cleaner and telescopic extension tube.
Remove any blockages by inserting a
wire coat hanger into the hose.

TIP
To test for a blockage
in the hose, drop a
small ball of paper into
the hose. The paper
will drop through if
the hose is clear.
Remove the bottom cover (B).
Clean out any debris or hair from
the brushbar and turbine fan.
Clean the TurboTool by removing the
2 screws (A), located on the bottom
cover, with a crosshead screwdriver.
Replace the bottom cover, insert
and tighten the screws.
