2.6.8.2 Storage
During a shutdown, even a short one, always provide a rest for the support wheel by means of a suitable block approx.
4 cm high to prevent deformation of the bristles of the cylinder sweeping brushes.
Before a long-term storage, we recommend the following measures:
Remove dirt, dust, and plant remains from the machine.
Repair damaged areas on painted parts.
Drain the gasoline from the fuel tank and the carburettor (additional instructions included in the engine operating
manual).
Lubricate the machine as recommended in
Check the tyre pressure and inflate the tyres to
MAX
pressure.
Prevent access of unauthorized persons to the machine. Protect the machine against weather influences, but do not use air-tight
protection due to increased corrosion.
