Current protection is incorporated in the supply circuit of
the electric motor and it protects the electric motor against
excessive load and it interrupts the supply circuit of the
electric motor in the event that the load of the electric
motor is exceeded. The motor then stops. Restarting
the electric motor is possible after 10–20 s. The power
supply circuit of the electric motor includes end sensor
located under the central screw as a safety feature,
which automatically interrupts the power supply circuit
of the electric motor when the upper part of the crusher
that covers its working device is removed. The safety
microswitch is controlled by a single screw that fastens
the upper part (see the detailed drawing, position 72).
5.3.1 Safety devices
A safety limit switch is incorporated in the supply circuit of the electric motor, which automatically interrupts
the supply circuit of the electric motor during dismantlement of the upper part of the crusher which covers
its working mechanism. The safety micro-switch is controlled by one screw that fastens the upper part (see
the detailed drawing, position 72).
6 Installing the machine
The machine is supplied assembled, with a fl exible lead wire connected in the terminal box of the electric
motor.
The machine shall be installed in outdoor or indoor areas with suffi ciently free space in its surroundings
so as to handle the material being processed. The machine needs to be positioned on a fl at fi rm surface in
order to ensure that it is suffi ciently stable during work.
Follow the instructions given in Chapter 12 of this manual when handling the machine during
its installation.
Caution! Never place the machine in an outdoor environment and work with it in rain; the
machine’s electrical equipment is not resistant to the adverse effects of water
considering the ingression protection used. There is danger of electric shock and
of the machine being damaged.
Before installation of the machine, an electric line must be prepared according to local conditions for
connecting the machine to the mains according to the instructions given in point 6.1 of this manual.
Caution! In view of the fact that fruit and its crushed parts are handled in the vicinity of the
crusher, there is increased risk of slipping or stumbling in this area.
