4. Setup
Attach 8b unit to the light source. (FIGS 1
& 2)
The 8b requires a 7.5”gel frame slot or VaporFlame
Mounting Adapter. (Sold Separately.)
1. The bottom edge of the 8b unit slides into the standard
gel frame slot such as on a standard 6” Leko or many
LED Par fixtures. (outside dimensions of a standard 6
inch frame are 7.5” x 7.5”).

2. Slide the edges of the 8b chassis all the way into the gel
frame slot.
-OR-
1. Attach the VaporFlame Mounting Adapter to the face of
your lighting unit using appropriate screws.

2. Attach the VaporFlame chassis to the Mounting Adapter
using pan-head screws and safety nuts
3. NOTE: VaporFlame Mounting Adapter will only fit
SELECTED units
Connect Power and Data to the 8b. (FIG 3)
1. The 8b is powered by the included PowerCON True1
connector.
2. “Data In” and “Data Through” are via the 5 pin DMX
connectors.
3. Align the notches on the connector with the notches on
the unit’s power port, push in and turn clockwise until
the connector clicks into place.
4. The 8b requires an input voltage of 100-240 VAC.
5. The 8b draws 2.5 amps @110 VAC.
