Storage
When not in use we strongly recommend unscrewing the battery from the
centre disc and atomiser casing. This will prevent any fluid from leaking
through the atomiser and into the battery.
Troubleshooting.
Burnt taste
•
Check that the cartridge has not been overfilled. If it has empty the
cartridge till it is one third full.
•
If the cartridge has not been overfilled you may have burnt your
atomiser. This can occur by trying to use the device with an over-filled
cartridge or with an empty cartridge. The atomiser may be black in
colour if it has been burnt.
•
A burnt atomiser requires replacement. You can purchase replacement
atomisers on VAPO.co.nz
•
An atomiser should last around 1 month if used correctly. If the
atomiser has been overused it can also give off a burnt taste. If this
happens please replace the atomiser.
Leaking
•
The most common cause of leaking is when the cartridge is not
changed frequently enough
•
Take the unit apart, clean all parts and replace the cartridge
•
Leaking is important to avoid as the liquid can flow into the battery
where it can short the unit
•
Ensure that the hole made in the cartridge cap is not too big to allow
leaking but not too small that the atomiser spike will not fit through to
allow access to the liquid in the cartridge.
Battery Problems
•
Overheating is generally caused by fluid getting into the battery and
shorting the unit. If this occurs immediately cease use of the unit and
replace it
•
If the battery is not functioning at all this is also a sign that fluid has
made its way into the battery. Cease using the product immediately
and replace it. This outlines the importance of replacing the cartridge
regularly to ensure a tight seal over the atomiser.
