Set Customization – Login Page – Login Page = Internal Portal
Download the Internal_Portal.htm template from Customization – Upload Pages.
Customize this HTML file with the text and graphics that you want. You can replace
the default ValuePoint Banner.jpg file, or just upload whatever graphics you want
and reference them in your HTML. If you use a web page authoring tool like
FrontPage, be sure to upload all the files it creates for your page, and make sure
they are in a directory, in your tool, called “/uploads”.
Upload your custom Internal_Portal.htm file. This file must have the POST FORM
elements from the template. This code can also be seen with the Customization –
Login Page – Login Page – View External Portal HTML Code button. Make
sure any additional files or images are referenced from the /uploads/ directory
internally.
4. Full internal portal pages: This scenario is to create an internal login portal
with multiple pages.
Set Customization – Login Page – Login Page = Internal Portal
Download the Internal_Portal.htm template from Customization – Upload Pages.
This page becomes the ‘index’ page for your portal. Subscribers will be directed to
this page when they log in. Once they land on that page, you can provide links and
content according to your design. Ultimately, subscribers must submit the standard
login POST FORM to be logged in, but you can put the POST FORM on
Internal_Portal.htm or any other page you want.
Upload your custom Internal_Portal.htm file. This file is the link to the rest of your
custom content. Somewhere on your portal, you must have a login page with the
Login POST FORM. Make sure any additional files or images are referenced from
the /uploads/ directory internally.
Example Internal Portal Page for a hotel:
Internal_Portal.htm: A welcome landing page that identifies the property and has
various images and links for the hotel brand. Includes a “click here for internet
access” link to Agreement.htm
Agreement.htm: This page has your long legal terms and conditions on it, and a
button linking to Login.htm that says “I agree to these terms and conditions”
