6.4 CHECKS

 

6.4.1

  A periodic visual check of the pilot and burner 

flames should be made (see figs 30 and 31). 

 

Check after the furnace has been on for at least 30 
minutes. 

6.4.2

 

The appliance area must always be kept clear and 
free from combustible materials, gasoline and other 
flammable vapors and liquids. 

6.4.3

  Keep the area in front at the bottom of the 

appliance clear. Obstructions will impede the flow  
of air to the appliance and cause incorrect 

 

combustion. 

6.4.4

 

The flow of combustion and ventilation air must not 
be obstructed. The venting system should be 
examined by a qualified agency regularly. We 
suggest annually.
