gENERAL SAfETY STANDARDS
1) It is prohibited for children and unskilled personnel to
use the tool.
2) Always check the efficiency and integrity of the tool, to
prevent it posing a danger to those using it.
3) Keep persons, animals and children away from your
operational radius and ban them from standing near you
while you are using the tool
4) Do not use the tool in closed or poorly ventilated areas
or in the presence of flammable and/or explosive liquids,
powders, gasses or anything else of this kind.
5) Use a tool of suitable power for the job to be performed,
avoiding useless overloads, which could be hazardous
for the person using it and could also wear the tool early.
6) Never remove any component from the tool and do not
modify it in any way.
7) Make sure that the object to be processed is firmly secured
in place. Use both hands to guide the tool and never start
the tool if you are not in a proper working position.
8) Make sure that any service keys have been removed
before using the tool.
9) The operator is responsible for those around him in the
area in which he is working with the tool.
10) Tie long hair back and do not wear bracelets or long
necklaces as they could get caught up in the moving
parts of the machine.
11) Always wear protective clothing when working with this
tool. Wear safety goggles, protective mask, headphones
and work gloves.

12) Keep the tool well away from your body when it is

13) Turn the motor off and unplug the tool from the mains
socket when: you are not using it, you leave it unatten-
ded, you are checking it because it is not working, the
power supply cable has been damaged, you are changing
or removing the milling cutter or when moving the tool
from one place to another.
14) Always take up a safe, stable position when working
with the machine, especially when working on ladders
or scaffolding.
15) Always keep your workspace clean and free of any
obstacles.
16) Never allow yourself to be distracted while working.
17) Only work in properly lit places.
18) Before plugging the tool into the mains supply, check
that the switch is in the “OFF” position.
