Troubleshooting
Use this troubleshooting guide to resolve any common problems that you may encounter with
the unit. if the problem persists, do not use the unit and contact an authorised repair cnetre
to have it inspected and if necessary, repaired.
Problem Possible Cause Solution
The unit does
not turn on. The
heating indicator
light is off.
• The power supply
is incorrectly
connected.
• The temperature
control knob is
damaged.
• Check the plug is correctly connected
to the power supply. Pull out and re-
insert the plug.
• Unplug the unit. Turn the
temperature control knob to the OFF
position and then to the maximum
temperature position. You should
hear a faint click when you rotate
the temperature control knob. If
no sound is heard, then there is
a problem with the temperature
control knob. Contact an authorised
repair technician to repair the unit.
The unit is heating
but the indicator
light is off.
• The unit has
reached the set
temperature.
• The indicator light
is faulty.
• No need to take action, the indicator
light will turn on when the unit starts
heating again to maintain the set
temperature.
• Contact an authorised repair
technician to repair the unit.
The unit is not
heating but the
heating indicator
light is on.
• The heating
element is faulty.
• Contact an authorised repair
technician to repair the unit.
The heating
indicator light is
always on, the unit
is constantly on
and the grill plate
is hot.
• The temperature
control knob or
internal thermostat
is faulty.
• Contact an authorised repair
technician to repair the unit.
