1) Ice warning = No ice on the road surface but likely to form soon.
2) Ice alarm = Ice or snow on the road surface.
3) Frost warning = Frost on the road surface or likely to form soon.
4) Rain warning = There is or has been precipitation, and, due to the road surface temperature, the road surface may be
slippery .
5) When the road temperature e3 °C (+37 °F), surface state is always reported as Moist or Wet, regardless of the
amount of chemical on the road.
