4 Installation
4.1 Connecting the start-up current limiter
(for VWL 7C/9C)
• Fit the start-up current limiter PCB on to the electrical
installation panel in the control box ( 1 ) by clipping the
bottom of the PCB into the retainers provided and
screwing it at the top.
• Remove the three factory-fitted jumpers ( 2 , dashed
lines).
• Connect the accompanying control cable from the
current limiter to the main PCB ( 3 and 4 ).
• Connect the input and output terminals of the current
limiter with the accompanying cables, paying atten-
tion to the correct phase and colour (
2 and 3 ).

Key
1 Fit the PCB in the control box
2 Remove the jumpers
3 Connect the connecting cables
4 Connect the control cable

Caution!
Risk of overheating!
The control and connecting cables must not be
run over either the main PCB or the current
limiter PCB.
Run the cables to the current limiter along the
side of the PCBs, through the cable clips.
