Installation instructions VRC 430
This is how to do it:
⇒
Connect a 2-core cable to the terminals of the
outside sensor in accordance with Fig. 4.2.
⇒
Connect the cable to the 6 pole edge connector
supplied with the VRC 430 in accordance with Fig.
5.2.
⇒
Connect the 6 pole edge connector to plug location
X41 of the boiler.
5.3
Electrical installation of the outdoor sensor
VRC 9535
The power supply to the boiler is switched off and
secured against re-connection.

This is how to do it:

Connect the connection cable to the terminal rail of
the outside sensor in accordance with Fig. 5.3.
⇒
Connect the connection cable to the 6 pole edge
connector in accordance with Fig. 5.3.
⇒
Connect the 6 pole edge connector to plug location
X41 of the boiler.
6 Initial
commissioning
Initial condition:
The controller VRC 430 and the outside sensor are
correctly installed and connected.
The boiler is switched on and ready for operation.

Note!
⇒
Set the two boiler dials for hot water and
heating to maximum (all the way to the right) in
order to ensure optimum control via the
VRC 430.
The operating concept of the VRC 430 is described in
the operating instructions in Chapter 4.3.
6.1 Installation
assistant
When commissioning the VRC 430 control for the first
time, you will be supported by the installation assistant
which recognises all components connected to the
installation.. Up to six screens (A1 to A6), depending
upon the heating installation can be used in the
installation assistant to enter the most important
operating parameters.
The installation assistant starts with the first screen A1,
language selection.
⇒
Select the language (operating instructions 4.3).
⇒
Turn the left-hand dial clockwise by one notch to
turn to screen A2.

The screen A2 shows the configuration of the
heating installation.
In the mixer mode HC1 you can select between direct
circuit (DC) and inactive.
For the cylinder (storage), you can choose between
active and inactive.
⇒
Turn the left-hand dial clockwise by one notch to
turn to screen A5.
