Outdoor unit
►
Evacuating the refrigerant circuit
►
Drain the nitrogen that was poured in.
►
Connect a vacuum pump.
►
Drain the refrigerant circuit in two rounds of 30 minutes each.
►
After each round, check whether the pressure is stable:
–
0.1 kPa (1.0 mbar) absolute pressure
11
Outdoor unit
►
Adding additional refrigerant
Condition:
Basic length of the refrigerant pipe > 15 m
►
For each additional metre (above 15 m), add additional refrigerant:
–
30 g/m for an output of up to 5 kW
–
70 g/m for an output of 7 kW or higher
12
Outdoor unit
►
Releasing the refrigerant
►
Turn the isolation valves as far as they will go.

Heating circuit
►
Connecting the additional expansion vessel
Condition:
The dimension of the installed expansion vessel is not sufficient
16
DHW circuit
►
Connecting the expansion vessel
►
Ensure that there is sufficient dimensioning.
►
If required, adjust the pre-charge pressure.
17
DHW circuit
►
Connecting a circulation pump
18
Safety devices
►
Installing the safety devices
►
Ensure that all of the required safety device have been installed in the sys-
tem.

System control
►
Connecting the system control
►
Ideally, install the system control in a living room.
Conditions:
Installation in the indoor unit's electronics box
►
Install a separate humidity sensor.
20
Outdoor temperature sensor
►
Connecting the outdoor temperature sensor
21
Outdoor unit
►
Establishing the power supply
►
Select a correct cable cross-section.
►
Comply with the connection conditions for the energy supply company.
►
Determine whether an electrical connection 1~/230 V or 3~/400 V (
→
data
plate) is required.
►
Determine whether the power supply should be set up using a single-tariff
meter or a dual-tariff meter.
Condition:
Depending on the installation site
►
Install one or two type-B residual-current circuit breakers for the outdoor unit,
depending on the connection type.
