Commissioning checklist in the event of a fault l
TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS!
Information about the commissioning checklist
The commissioning checklist can also be used when reusing the SMGM/X system.
Step Designation
Note
1
Cabling
Are all cables connected to the system?
•
X1 - 24 VDC supply
•
X3 / X4 - Ethernet connection cable on the module
•
Coaxial cable between the stationary module (ANT1
and/or ANT2) and the stationary coupler
•
Coaxial cable between the mobile module (ANT1 and/
or ANT2) and the mobile coupler
In the event of a fault, plug in/add/re-
place the corresponding cables.
2
24 VDC supply
Are all stationary and mobile modules in the system sup-
plied with 24VDC?
Check the POWER LEDs at the modules. They must be illu-
minated in green!
Ensure the 24 VDC supply to the mod-
ules.
3
SMGM/X system
Are all components in the system ready for operation?
Check the status LEDs:
•
POWER LED - green/steady
•
SYSTEM LED - green/flashing
•
SMG LED: green/steady
If the status displays are not as specified,
the corresponding module must be re-
placed.
4
SMGM-SI segment interface
SMGM/X communication link status is displayed via the
status LEDs ANT1 and ANT2.
Check the SMGM-SI (stationary interface) status LED ANTx,
which is assigned to the antenna interface to the rail.
4.1
SMGM-SI LED ANTx - green/steady
The interface is active, but no mobile interface was detect-
ed or none is available.
Continue under Step 5 "SMGM-DI Device
Interface.
