INTRODUCTION
The Väderstad Carrier X 425-625 is an hydraulically-mounted, multi-function tool for
intensive ground stubble cultivation and consolidation. Carrier X 425-625 is made up of
two foldable wing sections mounted on a sturdy central beam.
Two lines of conical discs (System Disc) cut through straw and crop residue, mixing the
straw and soil to create a flat, uniform surface. The implement affords efficient cultivation
at a working depth of 6 - 10 cm, and for optimal mixing should be driven at a speed of 10 -
14 km/h. The disc tool's design, using the X-shaped System Disc, means that it can be
trailed behind a tractor without there being any lateral movement.
But Carrier X 425-625 is not just an efficient stubble cultivation tool. Other areas of use,
such as levelling, working and consolidating of ploughed land, normal rolling and fine
seed bed preparation, mean that this machine is a truly flexible tool.
There are 3 different packer options to choose from: Steel packer, Rubber packer and Cage
roller.
