goggles and protective gloves.
☞ Wear parts have to be replaced regularly.
☞ Never operate a defective or damaged pump.
☞ Vent the pump before starting maintenance. Isolate the
pump and other components from the vacuum system.
Allow sufficient cooling of the pump.
Clean polluted surface with a clean, slightly moistened
cloth. To moisten the cloth we recommend water or mild
soap.
Interventions on the device

Work on the equipment may be performed only by a
qualified person.
☞ Work on electrical equipment in particular may be per-
formed only by qualified electricians.
☞ Ensure that maintenance is done only by suitably
trained and supervised technicians or at least by an
instructed person.
Ensure that the maintenance technician is familiar with the
safety procedures which relate to the products processed
by the pumping system.
Only dismantle the pump as far as necessary.
