Vacuum Compressor Fan
Cleaning Instructions
4. Engage the vacuum system.
5. Increase the truck engine throttle to approximately
1500 RPM.
6. Engage the handgun system. Operate the handgun
system at idle RPM.
7. Stand approximately 20 feet away from vacuum
compressor. Using the handgun, spray water into
the centrifugal separator for approximately 1
minute or until clean water is seen exiting the outlet
diffuser. Repeat this process until clean water is
seen exiting the Outlet Diffuser.

8. Decrease the truck throttle and disengage the
vacuum system.
9. Reinstall centrifugal separator door. Make sure the
gasket is installed and latches are tight.
10. Make sure vacuum system is disengaged. Remove
the clean out port covers at the bottom of the
vacuum compressor. Using the handgun, spray
water into each port. When clean water is seen
flowing out of the ports, reinstall the covers.

11. Standing near the vacuum compressor, spray
water into the 3 openings at the front of the debris
body and vacuum system for 30-60 seconds or
more as required to clean seals and sealing
surface. For proper vacuum operation, seals and
sealing surface of debris tank must be kept clean.
