STORING TRANSMITTERS
The system uses 2 and 4 channel Personal Pass series
transmitters. The 2 channel version of the Phoenix transmitter can
only be used when the control unit operates in accordance with 1
button step logic.
Up to 32 pairs of buttons may be stored.
In 2 button operational mode, the transmitter
keys are paired as indicated in the figure, i.e.
1 and 3 or 2 and 4, and operate as two
external buttons.
In 1 button operational mode, the key on the
stored transmitter acts as the external button.
Storing of the transmitter can only be done by radio, using the
following procedure:
1.
Install the automated device components.
2.
Power-up the system.
3.
Transmit for 5 seconds, by pressing buttons 1 and 3 or 2 and 4
on the transmitter, if using a four channel transmitter, or 1 and
2 if using a two channel transmitter.
4.
After 5 seconds have elapsed, the motor moves in the open
direction for 1 second and in the close direction for 1 second,
thus signalling the program has been entered, if one of the
two limit switches is open, the motor will only move in one
direction.
5.
Release both keys, and within 10 seconds, re-transmit using
one of the buttons from the new pair to be stored.
At this point, in order to check the system is operating correctly,
simply re-transmit and check that the motor moves in accordance
with the operational logic set.
To add a new transmitter, repeat the procedure by programming
using an already stored transmitter.
