must be guaranteed e.g. via non-clos-
able openings in doors or windows and
in combination with an air-intake/ex-
haust-air wall box or by other technical
means.

When carrying out maintenance work
on the appliance, including replacing
light bulbs, cut off the electricity supply
to the appliance: remove the screw fuse
from the holder or switch the circuit
breaker off, or disconnect from the
mains supply.

When cleaning the appliance make
sure no water gets inside it. Use a mod-
erately damp cloth only. NEVER spray
the inside or the outside of the appli-
ance with water. If water gets inside the
appliance, it can cause damage.

Observe the cleaning intervals (see
page 30). Failure to do so increases
the fire hazard due to the build-up of
grease in the metal grease filters.

Failure to follow the cleaning instruc-
tions may cause a fire hazard.
