Changing the standard activated charcoal filter
Standard activated charcoal filters are only used in the recirculation mode.
Standard activated charcoal filters become less effective with use. With nor-
mal use, they have to be replaced at least every 4 months or whenever the
indicator light flashes. They cannot be washed or regenerated.
A Remove and clean the grease filters.

Turn both knobs A 90 ° and remove
the standard activated charcoal filter
from the bottom.

Insert the new standard activated char-
coal filter and secure at the front with
both knobs

Replace the grease filters.
A Replace the fuse, switch the circuit
breaker back on again and plug the
appliance back into the mains supply.
A Depress the button for at least
3 seconds.
– An acoustic signal is given off.
– The indicator light goes out.
Remove screw fuse or switch off circuit breaker.
The standard activated charcoal filter can be disposed of in the
household waste.
