3 Operation
3.9 Saturation indicator for metal grease filters
After 100 operating hours, the saturation indicator flashes when the range hood is
switched on and off. The saturation level has been reached and the metal grease filters
must be cleaned.
Resetting the saturation indicator
▸ Switch the appliance and the illumination off.
▸ Hold the
3 button depressed for three seconds.
– The LED on the 3 button flashes three times.
– The saturation indicator goes out.
3.10 Operation using the operating and display elements
Switching the appliance on/off
▸ Touch the button.
– The appliance switches on at power level 1.
▸ Touch the button again.
– The appliance switches off.
Switching the illumination on/off
▸ Touch the button.
– The illumination switches on at maximum intensity.
▸ Touch the button.
– The illumination switches off.
Changing the light intensity
▸ When the illumination is switched on, hold the button depressed for two
seconds.
– The light intensity is lowered.
▸ When the light intensity is low, touch the button.
– The light intensity is increased.
The illumination can be used independently of the extractor fan.
Changing the power level
▸ Press the / 2 or 3 button.
– The LED on the corresponding button is illuminated.
– The corresponding power level switches on.
Switching the intensive level on / off before time
▸ Press the
I
button.
– The LED on the I button is illuminated.
▪ If a power level had been running beforehand, then the appliance will automatically re-
vert to this power level after six minutes have elapsed.
▪ If the appliance had not been switched on beforehand, then the appliance will auto-
matically switch off after six minutes have elapsed.
▸ Press the / 2 or 3 button.
– The LED on the I button goes out.
– The intensive level switches off before time.
– The corresponding power level switches on.
