Operation

4.1

Basic procedure

Use the navigation arrows

 (up/left) and

(down/right) to select a settable value

and to navigate through the operating steps.

The selected set temperature values are displayed for 5 seconds when the door is
opened and then the actual temperature values are displayed.

Touch a function button

 /

 /

 /

to open the corresponding settings level.

Touch the active function button again or after 30 seconds without any interaction and
the setting is cancelled. The changed values are not accepted.

Use the

button at any time to cancel and discard a change to an existing setting

and without the value of the operating step being accepted.

Closing the cooling compartment door similarly cancels an active setting. The
changed values are not accepted.

If a button that is inactive in the context menu is touched, a 2× acoustic signal is emit-
ted and «- -» is shown on the left-/right-hand side of the display.

The

SilentPlus mode (noise-reduced operation) is temporarily interrupted for the

duration of the

 PartyCooling (increased cooling capacity) and

 fast cooling

functions.

4.2

Switching the appliance on

▸ Plug in the appliance at the mains socket.

«OF» appears on the left- and right-hand side of the display for 30 seconds.

▸ Hold the

 button depressed for 3 seconds.

The appliance is switched on.

A newly installed appliance takes up to 5 hours (empty state / without any bottles
inside) to reach its normal operating temperatures. The corresponding zone sym-
bol   continues to flash in the display until the cooling zone temperature is
reached.

4.3

Setting the temperature

The required temperature for each zone is entered one after the other. Setting range:

– Upper and lower cooling zone: 5 °C to 20 °C (41 °F to 68 °F).

Recommended temperature setting for the long-term storage of wines: 10 °C to 12 °C.
Notes on the ideal drinking temperature (see page 18).

Procedure

▸ Touch the

 or

 button.

The temperature display for the upper cooling zone flashes on the left-hand side of
the display.

▸ Touch the

 or

button and select the desired temperature for the upper cooling

zone.

▸ Confirm with the

 button to accept the entry.

The temperature display for the lower cooling zone flashes on the right-hand side of
the display.
