Plugiator User Manual
Several third party virtual „MIDI Loop Back“ drivers are available as freeware on the
internet. One such application is LoopBe1™ available for download on
www.nerds.de/en/loopbe1.html
After installing your internal MIDI Looping software make sure that it is loaded. In
the case of LoopBe1 you would see the icon in the status bar.
Now use the following setup:
1.
Launch the Plug-in Manager.
2.
Click on LOCAL OFF in order to allow the Plugiator sounds to be triggered only
via USB.
3.
Go to Plugiator Configuration and select MIDI IN as USB Audio Device & MIDI
OUT as LoopBe1 (refer to the image on the following page)
4.
Open your sequencing application (e.g. Cubase) and create a MIDI track.
5.
For MIDI IN use LoopBe1 & for MIDI OUT USB Audio Device.
This enables MIDI signals received via USB from the Plugiator to be routed to the
Plug-in Manager and then to the sequencing application.
