(1) Short press sequences on transmitter pushbutton or
‘connect’ tab of module.
(2) Confirmation reply with flashes at end of press sequence.
(3) To switch the function on and off alternatively (activation
and deactivation switch).
(4) The time may be set in minutes (default) or in seconds.
Two radio centralisation modes are possible according to the number of modules to be controlled and the distance between
the various modules:
- Direct mode: up to four modules per pushbutton
- Radio bus mode: unlimited number of modules

8) Minimum brightness level
: The minimum brightness level may be recalled at any time by means of 4 presses.
To configure the minimum required level:
- Set the chosen brightness by holding the pushbutton pressed
- Then press

times: the module will flash 7 times to confirm.
- Press

times to restore the default setting (reply: 8 flashes).
9) 12 hour time:
Temporary operation for 12 hours can be forced. Press

times to do this. This function may be usedful in
case of timing set to an excessively short setting for an activity.
10) Storage in case of blackout:
The brightness state will be stored in case of blackout and re-established when power is
restored: the light will remain off if the dimmer was off. Otherwise, the light will return to the stored brightness. Function enabled
by default. Press

times to activate or deactivate the function (reply: 5 flashes).
11) Flashing mode:
This function may be useful to alert hearing impaired users: the MTV500ERP will flash for 30 seconds
when a flash command is received from the transmitter. Press any pushbutton on the transmitter to stop the flashing. Press

times to activate or deactivate the function. Additionally press any button on the transmitter 10 times (Configuration Menu). The
transmitter LED will flash rapidly. Then press the chosen pushbutton 19 times.
12) Use with energy-saving or LED light:
The brightness must be set to a higher level if the light flickers when it is dimmed
(see point 8). Accessory CHR3W may be connected in parallel between light bulb return and neutral to suppress or attenuate
flickering.
WARNING: Check that the light comes on at the minimum brightness level.
Otherwise, increase the minimum brightness level (see point 8).
HOW TO INCREASE THE SWITCHED POWER
Multiple MTV500ERP modules may be used to increase the total switched power. Each module must control a maximum load
of 500/250 W in specific manner. The modules can then be connected in wireless mode: all the dimmers will work at the same
time in this manner.
To connect two or more MTV500ERP modules in wireless mode:
- Press the ‘connect’ tab on a MTV500ERP

times.
- Then press the tap of the other MTV500ERP once (

press).
- Hold the tab of all the MTV500ERP modules pressed for 4 seconds to cancel the connection.
