PRECAUTIONS
Read the notes in this manual carefully. This manual contains important information on safe installation, use
and maintenance.
GENERAL INFORMATION
•
This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was specifically designed.
•
All other use is improper. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damage deriving from
improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.
•
The system must be implemented in compliance with current regulations. All devices in the system must
be used exclusively for the purpose for which they were designed.
•
A suitable safety disconnect switch should be provided upstream from the devices, with a contact gap of
at least 3 mm (0.12”).
•
Make sure that the plate data corresponds to the power specifications before connecting the device to
the mains supply.
•
Check that the device is intact after removing it from the packaging. Keep the packaging (plastic bags,
polystyrene, etc.) away from children. The packaging is potentially dangerous.
•
Keep the ventilation or cooling openings and slots free.
•
Do not install the device in environments exposed to rain or humidity. Use special containers in these
cases.
•
Disconnect the device from the mains through the system switch before cleaning or maintenance.
•
Shut off the power at the main switch in the event of failure and/or malfunctioning of the device. Do not
tamper with the device.
•
In the event of infiltration of liquids or objects inside the device, seeks assistance exclusively from a
technical support centre authorised by the manufacturer.
•
Do not use extension cords for the power supply cable.
•
Repairs must be made with the exclusive use of spare parts supplied by the manufacturer.
•
The installer must ensure that the user information is included on the connected devices. Keep this
manual with the device at all times.
•
Failure to observe these precautions can affect safety of the device.

INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
•
This kit must be powered using the special power supply unit supplied with it.
•
Position the components on smooth, vertical supports, in accordance with the instructions contained in
this manual.
•
Holding the electric lock opening button pressed could damage the lock.
CLEANING THE PARTS
Use a soft cloth to remove dust and dirt. Do not use aggressive detergent liquids (petrol, solvents etc.) as
these can cause corrosion. Do not use spray products to clean the device.
