Overview
Integrating an iOS device with a Total Control system offers control and feedback typically found on the
system’s graphical interfaces, right from an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. Programmed like any other user
interface, the iOS interfaces are editable and customizable but are automatically programmed with the
same consistent interface as the other graphic controllers found in a Total Control system.
Installation & Programming
Installation and programming of an iOS application for use with a Total Control system is comprised of 5 steps:
1.
Purchasing
a Setup Code from URC
2.
Registering
the MRX Controller by associating it with the Setup code via URC’s Mobile site.
3.
Adding
the user interface (iPhone/iPad) to a room/zone(s) in URC Accelerator.
4.
Configuring
the iOS interface in Accelerator.
5.
Customizing
and downloading to the iOS device within Accelerator.
6.
Downloading
the iOS app to the iOS device.
