Total Control Mobile
Total Control Mobile
iOS Properties Window
Each iOS device added to a Total Control project can have different properties, permissions and
customizations. However, it first must be configured to work with the current project. Use the following fields
in the
Properties
window to make adjustments as noted below.
Setup Code
Use this field to enter the
Setup Code
that was included in the original email (sent by the URC Sales Team),
or that can be found on the URC Mobile site. Remember, this code must be activated from URC’s Mobile site
to work in your project.
Require User Access Code
This optional field allows you to enter a four-digit access
code that the user will need to enter, before accessing
the Total Control system via the iOS application.
Although not necessary, this may be prudent, based
upon the level of security demanded by the user, or
dictated by devices that control entry/exit points.
If there is
NO User Access Code
created, anyone with the
Total Control mobile application that is on the user’s
network could connect, and control, the system. If
control of the system extends to any security sensitive
devices (alarms, door locks, cameras, etc.), it is
recommended that a User Access code be assigned to
eliminate the chance of unauthorized access to the
system from outside the home.
