Frequently Asked Questions

How do I update the firmware?

Periodically, firmware update are available for the TKP-5500. As the TKP-5500 is connected to the home
network, a custom installer has the ability t update the firmware via Offsite Programing, if set up.

How do I reset a TKP-5500?

Using a pen or a pointed object press the button located at the side of the keypad. This button will read
“RESET” underneath it. Tap it once with the pointed object and the keypad will restart itself.

How do I erase a TKP-5500?

Access the Settings menu and select the Factory Rest button.
