ENGINE OIL & FILTER REPLACEMENT (CONT.)

Step 5

Lightly lubricate the new oil filter sealing ring 

with fresh oil and install filter tightening 

approximately 3/4 turn after seat of seal.

CAUTION

DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN THE OIL FILTER

Step 6

Fill engine with 2.6L of recommended motor oil

Step 7

Start the engine and let run for 30 seconds, 

confirming you have no oil leaks at filter.

Step 8

Check oil level, oil should be full to the upper 

mark on the dipstick, add oil as needed.

Dipstick should be dipped, not screwed in when 

checking the oil level 

NOTE

ALWAYS DISPOSE OF MOTOR OIL PROPERLY
