16. CONNECT TO A COMPUTER
A3HD can be connected to a computer running Microsoft indows for file transfer via USB cable.
To connect to a computer:
1. Using the supplied USB cable, plug the mini USB plug into A3HD’s mini USB socket, and plug the
full-size USB plug into an available USB socket on your computer.
2. indows may present you with a “New Hardware izard”. Please click the “Cancel” option to
close this.
3. The Computer had recognized the device as mobile hard-disk, the default mode as sync. mode,
so Computer will be not able to access the device
4. Touch “Turn on USB storage” to enter storage mode for file copy as an external storage device.
It will appear as mass storage on your
computer and will be assigned the next
available
drive
letter
within
“My
Computer” or “ indows Explorer”.
Drag and drop files from your computer’s
storage drives onto A3HD, just like you
would with any other external storage
device.
It is recommend to organize your media
files into separate folders for each type, e.g.
ebooks, music, pictures and videos.
