The
Upton Tea Imports
Electric Tea Kettle is made from
quality materials and electrical components. It is intended for
household use only and, with proper care, it will last for many
years. This 40-oz. (1200ml), 1200W model will bring water to a
boil in five minutes or less and then shut off upon reaching the
boiling point. It has an internal safety switch which shuts the
kettle off if it should boil dry or be turned on accidentally when
dry.
Caution
:
Should the safety shut-off be triggered by allowing
the kettle to boil dry, unplug the base and allow the kettle to
cool for several minutes before handling. Cool water should
then be added to the kettle through the spout to cool the kettle
completely before the next use.
Additional Safety Precautions
• Do not fill the kettle above the MAX indicator, located
inside the kettle.
• When pouring, avoid contact with any escaping steam.
• Do not use the electric kettle to heat liquids other than
water.
• Do not place the kettle on a stove, open flame or heat
source other than the included base.
• Do not immerse the kettle or its base in water.
• Do not attempt to open or otherwise disassemble the
kettle or its base.
• Do not leave the kettle unattended / Keep out of the
reach of children.

Your Upton Tea Imports Electric Kettle comes with a 1-year
warranty. If your kettle should fail within one year of the
original purchase date, contact our Customer Service
department for replacement, repair or return information
